Recently, I started obsessing over 'The Late Night Show With Jimmy Fallon', and yesterday I watched this episode with Mitt Romney. In this episode, what I 'fell in love', with was the use of focus during their "slow jam", and how the focus changes from one person to the next. A few months ago, I had been talking with Fergus about this use of focus, as I had seen it in one of the episodes of the TV series 'Vampire Diaries', and how I would love to use it in one of my future films. Maybe it's time to borrow a camera from the studios and start practising, so I can use this change of focus technique in my 4-minute film.
