LOCATION: Chatham Waterfront Bus Station
It's been quite a cold evening, or should I rather say freezing- cold evening? Anyway, I'm finally don't with day one of my filming. I'm happy I'm done with the first part of my trailer (at least I have some material to work with), but I'm looking forward to my second day of shooting.
But let me talk a little bit about our little adventures today, whilst shooting. At the beginning it was cold but not as cold as we thought it would be, and so after shooting for over 3 hours (when we were sorting out the lighting, colours and sound correct- as it was foggy), we froze to death (literally). However that wasn't our only problem today. Our second 'mini' problem was the buses and the amount of noise they produced that interfered with the dialogue of my characters/ actors whilst filming, which at some point annoyed me that much that I started getting frustrated with my actors (sorry guys). Oh yes, and the last but not least problem we had was that because I was sharing a camera with Sam B. and Vic, they ALSO had footage on the camera which was a major problem as they had taken over most of the camera's memory, which left me trying to get my OWN footage on a memory card that only had 20mins available.
Overall, both my actors and I had a very frustrating but productive evening, with many ups and downs but I'm happy we at least got enough footage for the first part of my trailer.
Thanks guys and sorry for getting mad at you (love youuu)!
Yours,
I.
